This site is a bit hard to categorise — and that's intentional. I'm a network engineer with 20+ years in the field, but I also build AI tools, shoot drone photography, obsess over food, and think too much about Stoicism. This page tells you where to go depending on why you ended up here.

// in short

The day job

Network engineer — BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, MPLS, the whole stack. I've been designing and troubleshooting enterprise and carrier networks since before most people knew what a VLAN was. Currently obsessed with AI applied to network automation.

The rest of it

I fly drones and shoot travel photography across Turkey, Colombia, and wherever else I end up. I cook Turkish and Colombian food. I practice Stoicism seriously, not as an aesthetic. I follow Galatasaray too closely for my own mental health.

Why this site exists

Part portfolio, part tool library, part digital garden. I built 27 free networking and photography tools that I actually use. I write about things I understand deeply, not things I Googled. Everything here is made by one person.

Where I am now

Based between Istanbul and Bogotá. Currently deep in Stoic philosophy, building AI-native network tools, and researching eco-hostals. The Now page has the real-time version.

Questions people ask
Are the tools really free?
Yes — completely. No login, no sign-up, no ads. Most tools run entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server. The IP lookup tool uses a public API (ipapi.co) to get geolocation data, and the AI chat uses Cloudflare Workers AI. Everything else is local.
What's the AI chat built on?
It runs Llama 3.1 8B via Cloudflare Workers AI — which has a free tier. I chose it over paid APIs to keep it free indefinitely for visitors. It's good for networking questions, config help, and general tech questions.
Can I use the configs and cheatsheet in production?
The tools are designed to give you accurate, production-quality output based on standard Cisco IOS syntax and RFC specifications. That said — always review config output before deploying, test in a lab first, and understand what you're pasting. I'm not responsible for your network. Use your judgment.
Can I suggest a tool or report a bug?
Yes — reach out via LinkedIn or GitHub. Tool suggestions are welcome, especially if you can describe the specific problem you're trying to solve. Bug reports with steps to reproduce get fixed fast.
Why is the site in English if you're Turkish?
Reach. My audience is global — network engineers in the US, South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. English is the lingua franca of networking, AI, and tech. Some of my food content has Turkish transliterations where they add clarity.
What's Galatasaray got to do with any of this?
Nothing. Everything. It's a character trait, not a section.
